Welcome to Project Discussion & Support
Hey! I’m Brad (amiantos). I design and build open source software, mostly for Apple platforms, mostly for fun. This is the place to talk about any of my apps — ask questions, report bugs, request features, share what you’ve made with them, or just hang out.
All of my projects are open source (unless noted) and available on my GitHub.
The Apps
Postalgic — A static CMS for creating and publishing blogs. Write from iOS or the self-hosted web app, generate static HTML, and publish to S3, SFTP, or any git repo. Syncs across devices through your published site — no central server required. #postalgic
Inneal — A LLM-powered chatbot client built for the AI Horde. Import Tavern-compatible character cards and chat with them for free using open source models and volunteer compute. #inneal
Writers Guild — A SillyTavern alternative focused on short story writing. Uses Tavern-compatible character cards and lorebooks, but writes in a format more like a short story or novel, with consistent perspective and tense. #writers-guild
Aislingeach — A generative art client built for the AI Horde. Generate images for free using open source diffusion models and volunteer compute. #aislingeach
Dreamers Guild — A self-hosted web app for using the AI Horde. #dreamers-guild
Ealain — Infinite, forever-changing abstract art created by artists who have never existed. Available as a macOS screensaver, Apple TV app, and Vision Pro app. The app version is not on GitHub. #ealain
Gamebook Engine — An iOS app for creating and playing gamebooks — interactive fiction where your choices shape the story. #gamebook-engine
Life Saver — Conway’s Game of Life as an artistic, abstract macOS screensaver and Apple TV app. Like a cyberpunk fireplace. #life-saver
PiBar — Manage your Pi-hole(s) from your macOS menu bar. Free via brew install pibar or on the Mac App Store. #pibar
dotBeat — Swatch Internet Time in your macOS menu bar, plus a handy timezone viewer for planning meetings across the globe. #dotbeat
How to Use This Space
Use the tags above to filter discussion by app. When posting, please tag your topic with the relevant app name so others can find it.
This is a good place to:
- Report a bug or weird behavior
- Ask for help getting something working
- Suggest a feature or improvement
- Share something cool you made with one of the apps
- Discuss development direction or upcoming changes
For anything urgent or security-related, you can also reach me directly via email or open an issue on the relevant GitHub repo.
